City of Hermann Police Department Releases Procession Details for Det. Sgt. Mason Griffith

The City of Hermann and the Hermann Police Department would like to express our deepest gratitude for the overwhelming amount of support from our community, as we all mourn the loss of Det. Sgt. Mason Griffith. We would ask for your continued thoughts and prayers for Officer Adam Sullentrup, who was also shot and critically injured in this incident.

There will be a public visitation Sunday, March 19, 2023 from 9:00am to 1:00pm at Owensville High School Gymnasium, 3336 Highway 19, Owensville, MO. The funeral services will follow, beginning at 2:00pm, also at the Owensville High School Gymnasium.

Parking for ALL vehicles will enter through the southernmost entrance to the complex and will follow parking detail directions from there.

A procession to the cemetery for graveside services will follow the service on Sunday, March 19, 2023.

The procession will leave from Owensville High School Gymnasium, 3336 Highway 19, Owensville, MO and proceed down Hwy 19 S to Hwy 28 E to Hwy 50 E to Reserve St. to Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Rosebud, MO. From there, a parking detail will be onsite to assist. All professional law enforcement honors will take place at the cemetery.

The public should expect traffic delays if traveling in and around the venues listed above and the procession route on Sunday March 19, 2023.
